An online course about Responsible Innovation, Shaping Denim’s Future

Sustainability is essential to the future of the fashion industry. In November 2019, Kering and IFM launched the ‘IFM - Kering Sustainability Chair’, which seeks to create a first-class research and teaching center in the fashion industry. This creative ecology brings together all aspects of sustainability and corporate social responsibility. ISKO™ is proud to share that we are supporting the Chair by partnering with international fashion school L’ Institut Français de la Mode (IFM) and Kering on a future-focused fashion sustainability course. 

Responsible Innovation & Education

Sharing our denim knowledge and the more innovative sustainable practices have always been of the highest importance for ISKO™. We strongly believe that creative innovation and education are the keys to produce denim in a way that does not harm the world we live in. 

Alongside luxury fashion group Kering and Institut Français de la Mode, an online series of courses have been released. It is designed for both students and professionals from fashion and luxury, who are seeking a practical foundation for how to work towards transforming this industry. The online recordings will form part of the L’IFM course material on FutureLearn, an online education platform.

Making it Matter

If you have ever wondered why sustainability in fashion matters, and how to begin to form a strategy to build these principles and practices into the industry, this course is for you. Launching May 17th, attendees will gain input from the IFM faculty, Kering experts, designers, start-ups businesses and industry manufacturers.
