R-TWO™ enables us to include reused materials to craft reused and recycled denim fabrics, while maintaining the durability and quality we are known for creating lasting impact at scale.
Our fabrics are Global Recycled Standard (GRS) and/or Recycled Claim Standard (RCS) certified, which means buyers can be confident in our processes and recycled denim fabrics for all R-TWO™ products.
Building on the Responsible Innovation™ of our R-TWO collection, ISKO R-TWO™ 50+ is the next generation in sustainable denim, producing stronger, soft-touch fabrics that use 50% recycled materials, while reducing carbon and water footprints.
The waste hierarchy sets out the priority for managing resources based on environmental impact. This means reducing, reusing and recycling, thus ensuring circularity and durability towards long term sustainability.
For us, this focuses on reducing the raw materials we use. We blend reused materials like recycled materials with certified recycled polyester, made from post-consumer PET bottles and other materials. Recycled polyester uses less energy than virgin materials, lessening dependence on petroleum as a raw material, in turn reducing the overall carbon and water footprint.
