Everything is up and running on the path that will see only one winner. Since 2013, the outside-the-box school award promoted by ISKO™ and its design lab CREATIVE ROOM™ has been challenging students to create the most innovative projects inspired by denim, and this year it’s again time to award the most interesting projects.

The contest’s sixth edition is engaging students from the world’s best fashion schools and includes Denim Design Professionals in the early stages of their career. This year’s competition, launched at Premium Berlin, has been thrown in the spirit of the new creative theme: New Denim Codes. This is the concept that every contestant is following to design a collection that can push forward denim boundaries.

In what consists the idea of New Denim Codes? ISKO I-SKOOL™, the educational platform run by ISKO™, has set the frame of the challenge: to explore a fresh, novel vision of the body and the notion of what is agreed and shared today, creating a whole new denim language. For ISKO I-SKOOL™ it is vital to go and find out the most brilliant, innovative minds that can be real game-changers in fashion design.

Students and young professionals had until the 15th February to register online and upload their projects to be shortlisted for the final phase of the ISKO I-SKOOL™ 6th Denim Design Award contest. Right now, they are working day after day to make their dreams come true and to make their way in the denim fashion design industry, until the final ceremony to take place in July. The jury panel will then unveil the most innovative projects of the New Denim Codes.
